I was only 13 years old when I first heard the heartbeat instrumental version of the title track. Over the years, this song has always been a reminder to not stress about what will be but instead focus on living for the present.
Director/Cinematographer: Bikram Singh Bathh
This tribute is inspired by and an homage to the original composition by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
I've used 2 keyboards to record all the sounds you hear:
Yamaha PSR S950 - Drums, Bass, Ambient Piano, Concert Strings, Movie Strings, Sweet Bansuri and Heaven Bells
iRig Pro 37 - Violin, Flute Vibrato (IK Multimedia SampleTank via iPad)
Using the iZotope plugin chain, I added various FX (Delay, EQ etc.) to the layers.
I shot the entire performance using my Logitech C920 HD Webcam! By the time I finished editing and rendering, a voice inside told me to redo it and make it colorful and vibrant. Thanks to Bikram's creative cinematography using his Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR, the video turned out to be better than anything I could think of... given it was shot at my (then) home studio.
Edited using the latest Magix Vegas Pro 14, I haven't modified the original footage apart from the color grading.
The video you're watching is the 7th iteration from the original clip arrangement.
