Regarded as one of Franz Schubert's most famous works, he composed "Ellens Dritter Gesang" (more commonly known as "Ave Maria") in 1825 as part of his Opus 52.
Charles Gounod improvised the original melody and superimposed it over a slightly modified version of Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846.

The amazing Joni Fuller

This project is my first collaboration with English singer/songwriter, pianist, violinist, and composer from Lancashire - Joni Fuller! Joni has been playing since the age of 5! She is also the founder of Your Strings Attached.

Undoubtedly, Joni's heavenly rendition of the entire Strings arrangement creates an amazingly immersive and soul-stirring experience. Apart from the lead solo Violin, she's also playing the Viola harmonies and the Cellos. The String section was so beautifully laid out that for the first time, I dared to step into the 'unknown' and created an actual 5.1 surround mix!

In totality, there are 5 Piano layers and 17 String layers working in unison to create the 5.1 magic. To create this 5.1 surround mix, I used Magix Vegas Pro.

Bikram Singh Bathh's magic

Bikram has the skills, knowledge, and experience in social media, design, writing, filmmaking, and marketing communications. He's been intimately involved with Punjabi print media & cinema. Like the previous Kal Ho Naa Ho project, he combines his equipment with several creative methods to capture my Piano part to fuse it with the essence of the overall arrangement.

I've used a combination of MIDI VSTs to achieve the multi-piano sound effect. XLN's Audio Addictive Keys is brilliant when it comes to the options and customizations available. In addition to choosing and customizing the presets, I was also able to select the microphone placement! Indeed, a very powerful VST.
