WonderWebWare SiteMap Generator - Review & Demo

What is a Sitemap?

A sitemap is a file where you provide the relationship information about the pages, media, and other content on your site. We will upload this file in the root directory of our site folder (where you have the rest of your .html pages). Search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc., read this file to crawl your site. Typically, if you have a small website (Google defines 'small' as anything below 500 pages!), a sitemap is not required, but it doesn't hurt to generate one and upload it anyway!

In today's article, I'm reviewing a FREEware SiteMap Generator (v.0.975 beta), developed by WonderWebWare.

The 'Last Modified' attribute tells the crawler how recent your content is. As per Google's official SiteMap documentation, "Google does not currently consume the priority attribute in sitemaps."
